Third RIOT developer meeting

Dear rioters,

we're heading for the next release of RIOT. Hence, we should schedule the next developer meeting to discuss the final steps towards this milestone.

Once again the meeting will take place at Freie Universität Berlin, but like the last time we will provide facilities for remote participation.

To decide on a date, please vote in our doodle: http://doodle.com/rwa7z92hf5r3w3zs

Hi,

just a friendly reminder to vote for a date. I'll close the doodle tomorrow evening. Currently it seems that we're targeting for the Tuesday morning.

I would also like to remind you, that you can also participate remotely if you cannot make it to Berlin or the Freie Universität.

Cheers, Oleg

Dear rioters,

as a result of the doodle poll we'll schedule the next RIOT developer meeting for Tuesday, November 12 at 10am (MET). The meeting will take place at room 137 in the Institute of Computer Science, Freie Universität Berlin (Takustraße 9, 14195 Berlin). If you plan to participate remotely, please send me your Skype account in advance, so I can invite you to the conference call.

Cheers, Oleg

Dear rioters,

here's a tentative agenda for the meeting:

0.) Agenda bashing 1.) Upcoming release - procedure and final feature set 2.) Consolidation of the projects repository - What goes in, what not? 3.) Testing - Unit tests and CI service 4.) Github alternatives - Bitbucket and Gitlab 5.) Structure of cpu and boards (integrate thirdparty_* etc.) 6.) How to avoid too much #ifdef'ing?

Anything else that needs to be discussed?

Cheers, Oleg

Hey,

I think someone mentioned autoconf during the meeting: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BYpdB6eCIAAr8K6.png:large
