RIOT Summit 2026 venue

This year’s RIOT summit is approaching fast, which means that it is about time to think about the venue for next year’s one, to be able to announce it there.

I’ve talked to @chrysn the other day about going back to Vienna to co-locate it with IETF126. Last year’s discussion suggests people liked the idea. That would mean changing the schedule a bit, since IETF will happen in July.

Any opinions? Should we commit to Vienna 2026?

I think the RIOT Summit 2026 venue is already set to Grenoble.

Yes, it’s Grenoble. Vienna would have been a fallback option, but plans for Grenoble were already underway.
