PRs for hardware the maintainers cannot test

Hey fellow RIOTers,

how do we deal with PR's for boards or devices that no maintainer has available for testing, like [1]?

I’ve a 207, but I think that it shouldn’t be a problem. Maybe we could add a “tag” of some sort that the support is experimental. Just like Linux :slight_smile:

Hi,

I cannot talk for the general topic, but for that PR, we (at OTA keys) will use the CPU on our own hardware, so we’ll need to have a good support. We will then of course help with the maintenance of that code.
