I was only yesterday reading up on Paho and MQTT SN for use in RIOT. I will probably add it as a pkg during the autumn unless someone else beats me to it.

I was also looking into an MQTT client for RIOT and found a couple of days ago this discussion:

tl;dr Ludwig points out that there is a work in progress MQTT-SN client over here:

However, I don't know the exact status of MQTT-SN in RIOT?

Hey,

As far as I'm concerned the mqtt-sn implementation that Ludwig and me started a while back can be labled as Work In No-Progress. We never went beyond some header definitions, because the gnrc network stack was still transitioning. So feel free to port mqtt-sn or adopt Ludwig's branch.

Ludwig, anything to add?
