once I wrote the I2C driver for the ISL29020, though I have no idea what the differences between these sensors are... But maybe you can re-use code?

Too late, I already opened a PR. But no worries, of course I saw and evaluated your driver, the sensors are highly incompatible. I recycled some documentation/header strings only..
