I just stumbled over this, which I thought some of you might find of interest:
Some people (from the RISC-V crowd, apparently) have started to set up a de facto standard benchmark for Class 1 IoT devices / microcontrollers.
They explicitly target devices with typically Flash ≤64 KiB and RAM ≤16 KiB, and aim to benchmark characteristics including Code Size, Context Switching Time, Interrupt Latency , Power.
