Correct me if I’m wrong, but I had a look in the code of the Arduino MKR WAN 1300 board. I didn’t see anything about the radio module. Is it supported ? If not, shouldn’t the board page mention it, given that the radio module is a major feature of this board ?

You are correct when you point out that the radio module for the arduino mkr wan 1300 is important. If it is not mentioned in the code you examined it may be because of the specific package you are using.
Make that the appropriate module is installed
