Dear RIOTers,
this is to announce SANE, a new project initiative and collaboration with the University of Hamburg - one of four flagship projects chosen to advance the digital strategy of the state of Hamburg.
SANE - "Smart Networks for Urban Citizen Participation" will integrate and deploy smart private sensors based on RIOT in a distributed urban sensing system based on JADEX https://www.activecomponents.org. JADEX is a successful agent platform created by UniHH. It will in particular link RIOT to JADEX and foster the RIOT-based availability of urban sensors.
Starting in early 2018, this project will provide the opportunity of applied research positions (TVL/E13 full-time or part-time) in the field - so please feel free to contact me in case you are interested to work or collaborate. A PhD option is provided.
