users Digest, Vol 49, Issue 1

Hi peter,

Thanks for your reply. May I know when you are planning to release the RIOT with openthread. I am planning to test samR21 board with RIOT+OpenThread and write radio abstraction layer for an UWB RF chip. What kind of help I can expect from you.

Hi again,

we aim to have this feature as part of the next release 2017.04 in about three month. But honestly speaking we can not guarantee for that. On the other hand it might be that this pull request gets merged even earlier. However, we also see that there is quite some interest in OpenThread.

You can expect the "usual" kind of help from us. That means we do our best to answer conceptional questions, usually discussed on mailing lists, and guidance as well as review when it comes to your device driver.

Regards Peter
