has anyone thought about using the MRF24J40MA with 6LoWPAN protocol?
I haven't heard of this transceiver before, but since it seems to be connected through a regular SPI interface, it shouldn't be to complicated to write a driver for it. Using 6LoWPAN on top should work out of the box then.
